Deanna Sinagra
Year 4.1
Deanna Sinagra is an energetic Primary teacher who strives to develop the whole child, academically, socially and emotionally, following a holistic approach. She obtained a Bachelor in Education (Primary) degree in 2012 and is proud to be entering her eighth year at St Andrew’s Grammar.
Deanna has experience in the middle primary years and prides herself on providing differentiated learning experiences at both hands on and inquiry-based levels. She maintains a well-established and positive behaviour management system and ensures that all students in her care feel safe at all times. Deanna refers to this as the ‘Safezone’ which allows students to openly express thoughts and ideas as well as question, within an inclusive classroom environment.
Furthermore, Deanna values mindfulness in conjunction with personal well-being and is eagerly looking forward to offering these skills through exercise based co-curricular activities, promoting healthy bodies and minds.
