We have facilities for two Kindergarten classes offering part-time (3 days per week 9am to 3pm) and full-time (5 days per week 9am to 3pm) under the direction of an Early Childhood Teacher and an Education Assistant. There are also facilities for two Pre-Primary classes located in well-appointed rooms with easy access to an extensive play area.
The school day begins at 8.45am and parents are encouraged to accompany their child for the first fifteen minutes of each day to read quietly, construct puzzles, play games or complete activities. Formal instruction begins at 9.00am and the day finishes at 3.00pm. During the day there is a break for morning recess and lunch.
Perceptual Motor Programme
Kindergarten and Pre-Primary students participate in a Perceptual Motor Programme (PMP) every week where the aim is to develop their gross motor skills. The students are involved in a variety of activities that include climbing, balancing, throwing, catching, running, skipping, creative movement and dance.
Kindergarten and pre-primary students have access to, and are taught to use and experience, interactive televisions. Later in primary school, students are taught how to use Chromebooks and tablets.
All students are taught Modern Greek as a second language and are educated about Orthodox and Hellenic values.
