Dawn Clements


Mrs Dawn Clements has an impressive 30 years of experience in teaching and leadership, most recently as the Principal of Presbyterian Ladies’ College Melbourne (PLC). Before moving to Melbourne, Mrs Clements was the Principal of Lake Joondalup Baptist College in Perth and developed her senior leadership roles in other Colleges in Perth such as St Stephen’s School and All Saints’ College. Her extensive experience in leadership, strategic vision, school improvement planning and specifically, her experience in leading Curriculum and Learning in previous Deputy and Academic Dean roles, will no doubt steer our school into its exciting next chapter.

Mrs Clements is student focused and believes in the importance of strategising for what is best for the students. Her warm personality and caring leadership style nurture the wellbeing of her staff and students to ensure good outcomes. She believes in quality teaching and professional development that benefit staff capacity and enhance student learning competencies. She values teamwork, community, school as a place of belonging and her genuine Christian faith navigates her commitment towards excellence. She believes passionately in providing young people with the opportunities to reach their potential and to make a positive contribution as they develop the knowledge and skills to be people of good influence.

Mrs Clements completed a Master of Educational Management with high distinction, and her thesis focused on academic achievement cultures in schools. She also holds a Diploma of Education and a Bachelor of Arts with a Double Major in English Literature and History. All her qualifications are from the University of Western Australia. She is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and has been a past member of the Education and Training Committee at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Western Australia. Mrs Clements has also had experience working in the Not for Profit sector when she was a member of the Executive Leadership Team for The Esther Foundation Inc.

We believe Mrs Clements’ knowledge, skillset and extensive leadership experience will continue to enhance St Andrew’s Grammar, and we look forward to progressing our school’s vision for an amazing future with her.

Jannine Webb

Head of Secondary School

Jannine Webb is a highly experienced educator having taught and led educational innovations in a number of schools in both metropolitan and regional WA. Her experience has allowed her to hone her collaborative, team-oriented leadership style and to develop an expert team of teachers to deliver high level learning outcomes for all students.

Ms. Webb has developed strategies using academic that have been instrumental to the performance improvements recently witnessed at Wesley College. Ms. Webb is passionate about teaching and helping students to realise their potential, in whatever field they wish to pursue. She has implemented learning initiatives to support students fostering their interest in STEM areas such as engineering and mining related industries, which relates back to her teaching area, Science. She brings her warm vibrancy and working knowledge of academic improvement to this school.

Ms. Webb is excited about the future of St Andrew’s and is looking forward to supporting the school as it continues to grow to its enrolment target while retaining its boutique feel and approach where people know, care, and look out for each other.

Julie Wall

Head of Primary School

Julie Wall is an experienced Primary School teacher who migrated to Australia from England. Julie earned a Bachelor of Education Honours Degree from Sheffield University in the UK. She has taught extensively in England and Western Australia where she had many leadership and curriculum roles. Julie is currently Curriculum Coordinator and Upper Primary Cell Leader at St Andrew’s Grammar.

Julie has also had extensive experience working with children with a disability. She has proven experience in conducting lessons and formulating programs that develop skills and engage all students to ensure their educational outcomes are successfully achieved.

Julie has an exceptional skill and aptitude in establishing an environment that stimulates, motivates and engages students to become involved in their learning. She develops each student holistically and ensures there is physical, emotional and social needs are nurtured to bring out the best in each child academically.

Julie has a strong, genuine passion to not only motivating student, but teaches them how to learn in a manner that is relevant, meaningful and memorable. She continuously upgrading her skills in emerging digital and design technologies to develop and implemen ICT programs.

Jason Tutty

Deputy Head of Secondary

Jason Tutty is an educator with over twenty years’ experience in a wide variety of educational contexts, both in Australia and abroad.

Mr Tutty joined St Andrew’s Grammar in 2021 after five years in the Catholic Education System in the Northern Territory, where he was a Director of Curriculum and Pedagogy. Prior to this he held academic and pastoral roles in management and leadership teams at high achieving English curriculum schools in North London and Kuala Lumpur.

Mr Tutty has over nine years of experience implementing and leading excellent teaching practice across the whole school with a focus upon collaborative planning, visible learning and evidence-based teaching. He is enthusiastic about building collaborative processes that identify individual student’s needs, and support staff in planning and delivering lessons which allow each learner to make good progress.

Mr Tutty understands that strong partnerships between families, students and teachers are the cornerstones of any successful College community, regardless of the variety of backgrounds, abilities and ambitions of each learner. Fostering positive and constructive relationships between all stakeholders is a priority for an enjoyable and caring school environment.

Mr Tutty holds a Masters of Political Science and Qualified Teacher Status (UK) from the University of London. He has completed a Graduate Certificate in Theology from the University of Newcastle and has a current Certificate IV (VET) qualification in Teaching and Assessment. His undergraduate Arts degree is in Southeast Asian Studies and his Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education specialises in Languages other than English (Indonesian language) and Humanities; both these qualifications were received from Charles Darwin University.
