All clearance requirements must meet with the approval of the Principal for any contract of employment to take effect. The Principal (or authorised nominee) is required to sight and take a copy of your qualifications (including academic transcripts), Birth Certificate, Certificate of Citizenship or valid Residential Visa and valid clearance documentation, eg. Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA) membership and Working with Children (WWC) Assessment Notice.

Relief Teacher Positions
Relief Teacher applicants are required to provide two referees with their applications. Referee requirements for permanent positions are detailed on the final page of the Application Form(s). Clearance requirements are detailed above.

Teachers are required to have a current financial TRBWA registration. Full details of the Acts and Regulations pertaining to clearance requirements and registration can be found on the TRBWA website.
In accordance with the Working with Children (Criminal Record Checking) Act 2004, all staff are required to undergo a Working with Children Check, and/or possess a current “Assessment Notice”. Details of the Working with Children regulations are available through the Department for Community Development (Western Australia) website https://www.checkwwc.wa.gov.au.
It is the responsibility of the holder of the Assessment Notice to advise the School should a matter arise that would affect the validity of their Assessment Notice. Application forms are available at Australia Post outlets.
When the application is completed it must be signed by both the Applicant and the Principal then lodged in person at an Australia Post outlet which has the ability to take identity photographs.
