The Andrew & Maria Petrelis Amphitheatre
Funded by Emanuel & Marina Petrelis, the Andrew & Maria Petrelis Amphitheatre was opened in March 2014 as a state of the art performing arts venue with seating capacity for 560 people.
The Andrew & Maria Petrelis Amphitheatre has Hellenic elements, is functional, of stone-construction and features an attractive external facing wall. It is landscaped on all sides, has floodlights for evening performances, and is designed to maximise the natural acoustics.
Mr and Mrs Petrelis sourced a replica of the Parthenon Freize depicting dancing maidens. Two replicas have been embedded into the rammed earth external feature wall.
