Physical Education
There is an emphasis on increasing the fitness levels of all students through regular physical education and sport.
During morning fitness, the students are involved in strenuous physical exercise at least twice a week. The gross motor skills of students are developed during Physical Education lessons. Sport sessions include swimming, soccer, football, netball, basketball, cricket, handball, athletics and cross-country running and provide the students with the opportunity to incorporate skills taught into a game situation.
There is an extensive Independent Primary School Heads of Australia (IPSHA) Interschool Sport programme that includes all of the sports listed above where the emphasis is on participation and engagement.
