There is an emphasis on increasing the fitness levels of all students through regular early morning exercise, physical education and sport.
During morning fitness the students are involved in strenuous physical exercise at least twice a week. The gross motor skills of students are developed during Physical Education lessons. Sport sessions include swimming, soccer, football, netball, basketball, touch-rugby, athletics and cross-country running and provide the students with the opportunity to incorporate skills taught into a game situation. There is an extensive Interschool Sport programme that includes all of the sports listed above.
